Moraking, do I add you to the message, as Ctrofun hasn't been on for a while?
-
Message sent.

As a Gorafield writer, I wish you all the best of luck, though I remain skeptical unfortunately.
-
Thank you Creator769. Indeed, there are a lot of trapdoors. The reason I use these is because the simulate (in my opinion) Japanese paper walls the best. I know however that these do cause a bit/a lot of lag for some players on lower config computers, so I'll probably dial down on the amount I use to just around the windows.

@bygdaddy21, Thank you very much. If you ever wish to join in, you are more than welcome to, as you lived there before i launched the project.
-
No choice but to have a look around unfortunately.
-
@Dio Thank you for the kind words (and I didn't even need ggoogle translate to understand ) Normally it should be fine, I once asked Dok if I was allowed to do this in english, and as long as I followed all the right procedures, it should be fine... but I will be honest, I have no clue if this is still a thing at the moment.

Akuma kyōdai Overall Presentation of the concept: The city is based off a fantasy Japanese universe, filled with spirits and demons (Yokai). It mixes both traditional Japanese housing styles from the countryside and a fantasy skyscraper section with high density housing because of requirements for living space. The purpose of this town is mainly aesthetic and lore related, but also to be used as a potential reference for people who seek to spice up some of their builds, or learn about different Japanese building styles. Alternatively, it can also be used for housing players in dire need of a home. As an added feature of the design, the city will be multilingual, i.e., both French and English. The reason for this choice is to open up to a potential English community, but also to provide a helping hand for players who seek to learn English in a more in-depth manner, meaning, every message board, book and feature will have its name in both French and English. This concept might be awkward, but we feel like this could be a valuable tool in the expansion of the community and the server as a whole. This choice will in NO WAY discriminate any player who wishes to join, and the team is more than ready to speak in both languages if required. Joining the project does not require you to know both languages, but it’s a useful bonus. Technical Details: -Project name: Akuma Kyōdai -Dimensions: Approximately 600*400 given the shape of the land (water areas included) -Max height: 256 -Used area in this area: surface, underground and sky for floating islands. -Objectives: mainly aesthetic, complimentary RP to another existing project (to be revealed later on), housing. -Leaders/Founders: Xadrow -Other participants: TheGaudis, Glieps, BA06 -Location and Overall Border: Lore: NOTE: This is the role play section. For the purpose of this highly irregular project, I have prepared an even more irregular presentation of the Lore of the village: a full-on theatrical video. Because I am conscious that not everyone’s level of English is the same, I’ve decide to put the text of the video as a spoiler underneath it. I will apologize for there not being a translation, but I really couldn’t have something as epic as I wanted it to be translated into French… it just didn’t work for me. Also, if this project is accepted, expect an extended lore in the RP Tavern or in the potential forum thread (if we ever get there). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVCDPkh91rU&feature=youtu.be Environmental Work implied: - Flattening out certain high hills and removing all grass for the build. - Cutting off the north by making a river, making the landmass an island - Adding the sakura belt - Terraforming the middle area for dense housing, while trying to keep the water flowing through (see on explicative maps further) - Adding 2 large floating islands and smaller floating chunks of land. - Naturalize the area once finished building. Construction Style and Details: Being heavily inspired by Japanese mythology, the building style goes accordingly: it will mainly consist of Japanese shrine like buildings, including small houses to temples and a manor/palace. On top of that, some of the streets are intended to feel kind of oppressing, with tight passages among tall buildings (similar to some scenes in Singapore in “Pirates of the Caribbean 3”). The main materials will be wood and derived blocks (using both traditional Minecraft blocks as well as the full extent on the specific wooden blocks offered by the server, such as flower pots or overhangs/supports). The roof will be made out of netherbrick with a red slate trim. This detail is the key element of this project: a vivid red and purple roof contrasting with a light/mild and soft colour set for the main housing. For most builds, the white walls will be made out of white marble for the richer houses and wool or snow for the less fortunate. Except for functional buildings, skyscrapers and landmarks, including roads and decorations, cobblestone or any stone affiliated block is preferably not used, if not even banned. The reason for this is to keep a traditional look to the city, while at the same time show that it’s more of a small village instead of a huge industry filled metropolis, hence there will be little to no glass, metal or carved stones included in most buildings (some exceptions may obviously occur, as with all builds). Eventually, Aka and Ao, the dragons from the Lore, will get their place as protecting guardians of the city, and will get life size versions built as well. Whether we will build them flying in the sky or underground still remains to be seen. One of the key themes of this project is oppression: the woods, the dense city and the temples will be made in such a way that you feel small or weak in front of the later. This can be explained lore wise (Yokai scare humans by nature), so it should feel mystical and unknown to people who venture onto the paths around the land. Buildings are also a lot larger in size (each floor is 5 blocks high) to add onto this idea of immenseness and oppression, and is justified by the fact that most of the Yokai are a lot taller than humans. Building would go as follows: -the south idle housing will be built first, slowly growing into the larger city, with the market very closely following; -The sakura forest and orchards, as well as the farmlands will come next; -temples, shrines and towers follow; -The floating islands, each independently to be finished before passing onto the next one. The reasoning behind this building order is to have a suitable project to show to people as soon as possible, and to avoid having a huge build site for too long at a time. Ultimately, this could also allow for a potential redesign of the floating islands at a later date, as they are not concrete as of yet. The city will be planned (mostly) as follows: The following screen shots are examples of the style that will be used for various buildings, as well as concept buildings for main monuments: 1. Idle housing 2. Temple 3. Lumberjack camp 4. Off road 5. City road 6. High tier house 7. Dragon tower 8. City skyscraper 9. Blacksmith 10. Harbor 11. Farmland and houses 12. Shrine 13. Market 14. Trees 15. The Palace Building would also include adapting two bridges that exist already (the small one coming from Icarus and the large one inside of the terrain) to fit to the style of the project, as well as rework the pre-existing roads into the off-road style. The sand bridge leading to Säbhia will not be touched (unless something arises in the future diplomatic relations with the latter) and neither will the large bridge leading to Icarus (as requested by Glieps, owner of Icarus). As a final note for this section, I (and all the future members of this project) am aware of the prices that come with building a city, especially this size, and we are willing to take our time to make this dream come true. Politics and Society: On the political standpoint, the city is a kingdom based on a militaristic hierarchy, with the power evenly split between two Over-Shogun, the Yokai sisters, impersonated by yours truly. Any by-passer is considered a Ronin; this means all players, in the eyes of the system, are called Ronin. Anyone who wishes to help with building or anything to aid the project within the first few months receives a citizenship’s offer, which includes a plot of land for a home. Citizenship afterwards would require a little token of kindness, whether it would be a small contribution of resources or silver coins (to still be determined). Getting the rank of Exalted Elder means you are an important and respected member of the project. You can partake in decisions for larger community buildings. However, the Daimyo of the land are the only ones allowed to supervise larger builds and have the final word on whether a certain aesthetical choice should be approved of or not. They follow the Shogun’s will unless told differently. The reason for this is that the project will try to marry a few different styles together, but the base concept needs to be kept. The Daimyo are chosen again by yours truly, myself. * The ranks of the players are displayed by the roof crests on their houses. There will be 4 crest designs, each associated to a rank. If a player gets a new rank, they are to update the crest themselves. A registry will be held on who is on what rank. If a player is found to fraud their crest, they will be banned from the project. * The habitants are peaceful and neutral, but due to their Yokai nature, if war should arise, they would fight to the death. The town does currently not partake in any alliance, organisation or corporate, and it’s standpoint on the matter is that it would rather stay on its own. Much like traditional Japanese society, the habitants, although open to regional trade, stick to themselves. The philosophy is that most humans cannot be trusted. * The Dragon Festival, celebrating the Mother of Dragons (probably around spring), is an event that will be held at least once a year, where anyone is welcome to join for food, drinks, potions, dance and all sorts of fun. This will held in 3 potential locations: one of the orchards, the main square or in one of the dragon’s dens. * If an Exalted Elder, Daimyo or Shogun leaves the project for any reason (including banishment of the project), it will be considered as the Death of said person, and a feast will be organised to morn him and send him off to the city of ghosts (Amaterasu). They will also receive a tombstone in the Yūrei no niwa (Garden of Ghosts). Final Notes: One of the main personal objectives of this project for me is to intertwine its existence and its lore with other Japanese inspired projects, and try to create a link in such a way that if you think of one project, you can’t help but think about the other ones. It wouldn’t be to create a new union, but to have a unified RP I can build later tales on (and maybe an event or two in the process?) I’ve been working on this project for over a year, refining, reviewing and restarting several times, in hopes to please most people. While I know a few elements might look a bit like Amaterasu (dragons, Yokai populace…), I’ve done my best to create an original story and style, with a universe that works alongside the former. If you find there is something that I was unclear about or you have any questions, please ask away, I’ll be more than happy to explain anything you wish to know or learn about. Neighbours terms and Agreements: - Current land “owners”: - bygdaddy21 - diamond57 - cynfor62 (aka Thomas62630) - Flareheat - 3 more houses with owners I could not identify as of yet because they haven’t got a sign saying it’s their house. A Scribe (Sadaroh) is currently working on the formalities as it would seem all these players would have abandoned the houses. - Icarus: Accepted -Caras Galadhon: pending [moderator’s project] -Valmont: pending [moderator’s project] -Säbhia: pending [moderator’s project] My most sincere thanks to: -TheGaudis: For helping me with everything, from concepts to organization, to how to proceed with the formalities of founding projects. I’m not kidding when I say that if it weren’t for him, this project would probably never have seen the light of day. -Stalroc: For honouring me with his voice acting for the Lore video, as well as his acting performance and for his support during my concept, design and finalizing stages -Kélaïre: For its beautiful location for the filming of the Lore end scene. -Icarus: For accepting my project to be placed next to theirs. -Appalahuacs: for her amazing performance of Xadrow during the Lore end scene. -Sadaroh: for relieving me of my fear that someone was preparing a project on the same land as I was, and for helping me out with the abandoned houses. -Novi: for making a generous donation of 5000 Silver Coins ( PA ) under the condition that the project would be accepted. More people to come eventually Post updates: -26/09/15: TheGaudis joined the project Glieps joined the project -29/09/15: added confimation that Bygdaddy21 has moved out of his previous home. -1st/10/15: added end artwork -4th/10/15: received a conditional donation of 5000 PA from Novi -10th/10/15: added screenshots of the Palace design -16th/10/15: BA06 joined the project To be filled in eventually Thank you for reading, thank you for your time, and thank you for your interest. I hope to see you all at the ceremonial opening when the Sakura trees blossom.

Hello Motrium. Unfortunately, you cannot build anything on the server without having passed the test to become a peasant. Once you've done so however, you'll be able to build on any land not claimed by a project, provided you follow the rules of the server. I hope this information was of use to you -
Unfortunatly I must agree with quite a few of the previous speakers: so far there is little to judge. Now, appart from the colour scheme, I have an odd feeling that the houses look a lot like the ones in Kutzenbach... at least from what I can see. I hope you can update this post soon because my current standpoint is a no.

hello to all. I know little to nothing concerning Nevah to be honest. All i know is that it's about half the size of the live map and that people over there make mountains out of stone... filled inside. (you people are mad, you do know that right?) Never the less, I cannot help but be amazed by your work as a community and as a project. I look forward to seeing what you make out of this. +1 and good luck.

PROLOGUE ...You walked into the tavern, dripping wet from the storm outside. It was dark, poorly lit by a few candles across the main counter. A rather brutish looking man was cleaning a beer glass behind it, looking at you with a dubious stare, scanning for anything that might make his business even harder than it already was. The people in the tavern all turned as you came in, staring intensively at you as you walked down towards the counter. Each step was as if you were on the point of tripping a bear trap. "Une chope s'il vous-plait," you asked. The mood brightened up into a sudden uproar, and people started cheering, chanting and dancing as a olden band played in one of the corners. It had turned from a empty room to a dinning hall. Beer and food flew over the tables, a few dwarves were on the point of smashing a table with an axe, and a bunch of men were showing off with an arm-wrestling contest. "Qu'est-ce qui se passe?" you gasped, shocked by this sudden mood swing. "Et bien, vous avez fait preuve de quelquechose que mon entreprise n'a pas vu depuis un peu de temps. Quelqu'un qui parle français!" answered the barman. "Comment-ça? N'est-ce pas coutume sur New-Stendel de parler français?" "Si, évidement que se l'est!" he replied, making signs with his hand to come closer. "Mais visiblement ce n'est pas la coutume de tout le monde." He pointed a table near the chimney, where a client was having a glass of wine by himself. Though lit by the fireplace, his face was covered by a cloak, making him unrecognizable. There was a red mask on the table, and a rather peculiar large scroll next to it. "Ce client est là depuis bien une semaine maintenant, mais il ne parle pas un mot de français." explained the barman. "Quelle langue parle-t-il alors?" "Anglais," he answered, and spit in a jug next to him on the floor, the slime ball resonating in the brass pot. You looked at the client again, intrigued, thanked and payed the barman, and slowly made you way towards the hooded figure. "Mind if I sat with you?" you asked. The stranger was a little shocked at first, but he look at you, and with a polite hand gesture, offered you a seat. the cloak shrouded his face, but he wore a long robe like pair of pants and silken belts. From one of his bracelets, you could recognize a few oriental symbols, though you didn't know what they meant. you heard a sudden drop fall onto the table, clearly coming from the cloaked face. A drop of red ooze glimmered in the fire light, crimson and gelatinous. The stranger quickly placed his hand over it, and cleaned it off with a single soft stroke, leaving the table cleaner than it was before. "Sir, pardon my rudeness, but I was wondering where you came from," you asked. The hooded figure turned towards you, slowly, and took his cloak off. What was revealed was a humanoid figure made out of red gelatin or slime, with pitch black eyes and mouth. He looked at you, perplexed. " You too are a rather special human I see. Only few have asked me anything to be honest, let alone anything about myself. Humans seem to be afraid of the unknown by nature, yet here you are asking a civilized question." He stared for a while, before saying: "I come from far away... LOST CHAPTER: Hellfire and Goo... CHAPTER 1: Bookworms and travellers CHAPTER 1.5 Trail of the Twisted Lumberjack CHAPTER 2: The foreshadowing of War CHAPTER 3: The Iron Behemoth over Dark Waters CHAPTER 3.5: Into the Black Smoke CHAPTER 4: Scroll and Fury CHAPTER 5: Roots: Renewing the Cherry Tree CHAPTER 6: Shadows of Kurogawa ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Welcome to the tales of a Blood Slime. As you might have noticed, it's in English. Have fun reading something new and exiting, linked to my experiences on this server. Currently there are 6 chapters planed (on top of the Lost chapter). These will serve as my personal RP for my future ranks (if ever I so wish to rank up), but also as a little fun story to add onto my Minefield adventure. I hope you enjoy my writing and hope to see you soon in game. regards, xadrow - Kawaii Akuma

Well well well well Well! If it isn't my first victim trying to get on his own feet ! Oh how I've waited for this day, the times where the valiant and worthy rise. My my, I'm am pleased to have started getting into this community at this time. You see, I like Stalroc quite a bit, mainly because he was the only man who was kind enough to me during a social experiment I had made a while back. After a good laugh and a friendly chat, we became quite good acquaintance, and I know that he'll be able to help if I have any issues. He's friendly, and maybe the least corrupt Nevan I know ^^' (please don't dig my grave too deep for that comment). Considering his past activity, his constant involvement, and his influence on so many projects and on people's buildings, I don't see why he shouldn't be accepted amid the Knights of the server. a big +1 from me. Ganbatte ! (good luck to you)!

point taken Buky. (I top my hat towards you) But it seems that I need to justify more the existence of the tank than the design (as I actually did say in my first post that I would have suggested making the tanks look more prototype-ish; with maybe gears, more tubing and such). The design needs maybe to be reviewed, but the existence itself should not be questioned, because if people can make submarines and flying airships, I can't see why they wouldn't be able to make a moving cannon.- 75 réponses

both of the following are steampunk tanks: the difference is chronology. Even inside of the steampunk universe, some technologies are more advanced than others. Nabes is an early steampunk map, not a fully developed and technologically advanced steampunk world (I will admit that much). The difference between the example i gave is that one is more advanced than the other. One is clearly more powerful and efficient than the other. What I'm getting a vibe from is that people are confusing steampunk and diesel punk. what others forget is that steel was invented when we arrived into the middle ages. if the grey is annoying you, ask for some copper, that will fix the steampunk issue (or brass, but I prefer copper). Is it maybe the idea that there is a project that has the firepower to go to war? that would be stupid considering the past history of the lands. There is, unfortunately, no way of denying that Nabes is not medieval. It's like returning to saying the earth was flat: projects have clearly advanced beyond that. I believe that the real issue is genuinely the military advances for you people. You don't mind humane progress (submarines), but when it involves putting a gun on wheels (which was already a thing back in the early renaissance and even before that), you go into a frenzy. I'm a pacifist IRL, but in a video game i don't care. so, -material wise: it's valid, because of the projects that exist already -technology wise: its like putting 1 and 1 together to make 2 -chronologically wise: the military always had 10 years of a head start. history has shown the evolution of tanks (look at tanks from WW1 to now a days, the similarities are astounding), and they don't change all that much. (take this comment with a pinch of salt, of course tanks have changed, but the main concept is always the same: big gun on wheels/tracks) so I understand people are saying no, but I'm not changing my opinion.- 75 réponses

For the first time, I'm going to have to disagree with Stalroc. Nabes, although having to follow the same rules, is NOT a full medieval based build, and if you even try to tell me that the Nabes Capital is even half medieval i would kindly invite you to show me any reference of metal cities dating back to the 17th century at the latest, and I highly doubt you'll find what you seek. However, the thing I'm slightly peeved by is that people don't fully understand what the lore behind steam punk is, or that they don't seem to grasp the feel that comes with it. The submarines are "steampunky", and although small, ar quite cute. Heck, we have a metal juggernaut planed back at keysington (which by the way is probably even less medieval than this project) so I can't say no to those. The tanks are great, and to be honest I wouldn't mind tanks... but maybe design them with a even more "prototype" kind of look (to make it look slightly older). The turret is more than fine for me. Honestly this project has as much right to be on Nabes as any other project of its genre, but no where else on the RP maps, I will agree to that. TLDR: Go for it, maybe make prototype tank versions? Good luck.- 75 réponses

[Refusé / inactif] Projet "Doctor's Heights"
xadrow a répondu à un sujet de deboig dans Refusés | Autres
Really sorry mate, but I can't get past the architectural style, let alone the lore behind the town. I'm going to be a bit harsh, but I'm not supporting this project. I think you need to reconsider an entirely new concept to be honest, as the Doctor is not something that just blends into the general story that the rest of the continent is following. On top of that, an over use of flat stairs and banners make the builds just... look silly (remaining polite)... really sorry for this harshness, but it's my opinion. -
I, as a member of a long list of people before and after me, give a big +1 to this concept. I hope it can bring a little more of an upbringing to the young players Stal takes under his wing. Best of luck my friend

To be honest though, who do you want to represent with this: You've got mainly French players, Belgians, people from Quebec (I'm not calling them Canadians cause they don't like that X) ), and the odd madman who speaks an extra language. I might not be aware of all of this, but I don't see a lot of Spanish, Russians, Chinese or Ugandan players on this server, so I don't really see the point in this, unless trying to add some livelihood to the server. These people are allowed to come, sure, I'm even for this idea, but they wont come by themselves because they have no reason to come onto a french server where ALL of its lore is in french (and or a extra language for the odd exception I don't know of). Also, the website used to claim it was opening to English players more than a year ago, and look at the "huge" progress the server's made: people laughed and ignored me when I did a social experiment ( thank you Stalroc for the "warm welcome"), apart from the odd mature player people think a foreign language is a joke, and let's be honest, it's a barrier too. Now the idea itself isn't bad, but i personally think that there isn't a large enough demand for this to be necessary. -

Hello Hello everyone! I would like to take a little bit of your time to speak about why Gibbon_Boy should be accepted as a Knight. I got to meet him recently, and he was ever so friendly with me. He showed kindness and generosity, and that, for a part-time player, is something I cab only approve of. On top of this, he's a dedicated player (I see him connected on the server way too often), and a skilled builder too. He's got a bit of a gold-digger kind of thing going on, but that makes him all the more special . Furthermore, he's a very courteous chap, and well, I'm a sucker for nice people. [Accepté] Villager Application by Xadrow - Candidature de Villageois par Xadrow
xadrow a posté un sujet dans Villageois
IRL PRESENTATION: Hello. My name is Alexandre, but people call me Alex for short. Ingame, I’m known as Xadrow, or even Kawaii Akuma by the odd few who know me well. I’m turning 20 in July. Unlike you might think, I’m not English, but Belgian. The reason I write in English is because I’m currently studying in the UK, and my French is too rusty for my liking. My likes have evolved ever so slightly since the last time I presented myself, but not all that much: I still play video games (way too much), and I still play music, draw and I’m continuing my Engineering degree. I have, however, developed a particularly high interest in all that is Japanese Culture, from history to entertainment… okay, entertainment mainly, but I do like their history too. MINECRAFT AND MINEFIELD HISTORY: [LINK TO MY PRESENTATION AFTER BECOMING A PEASANT: https://www.minefield.fr/forum/topic/53757-pr%C3%A9sentation-xadrow/?hl=xadrow] I’ve been playing Minecraft for almost 4 years now. I’ve often visited Minefield, and I’m one of the main helpers of the Keysington project on Nabes [https://www.minefield.fr/forum/topic/54696-accept%C3%A9-keysington/?hl=keysington]. On top of this, I've helped in Kelaire and I've been asked to help design the Kutzenbach manor. I’d like to eventually build my own little town, as well as show my skills on the server. I specialize in Asian styled builds, but I’m a rather versatile builder, and I follow instructions well. Here are some screenshots of my work on another server and in singleplayer minefield: MOTIVATIONS The main reason I’d like to become a villager (villageois) is because I really don’t like Questing, and without a job I can’t get any real form of revenue, so my pockets are emptying rapidly. Although Questing is a big thing on Minefield,I don't enjoy it, and I’d like to get a few Silver Coins to set up my projects, maybe attend a few more events and such. Although this rank would be more of prestige than of use, I'd like to get more involved in the community, and a rank up might help with this. Finally, I was peer pressured into it by quite a few friends (mainly TheGaudis). If I was accepted as a villager (villageois), I would like to be a Lumberjack (bûcheron). ROLEPLAY (note: this section is slightly longer than what is asked for, but I couldn't fit the thing in just 25 lines. Also, originally it was over 60 lines, so I did a LOT of editing) Lost chapter: Hell Fire and goo… Wh… Where am I? What are these sounds whaling in my ears, cries for help? All I can see is fire and ash in a crimson sky, as two roaring beasts clash with claws and teeth, shredding skin and limbs. The smoke burned my eyes as the gust created by the two behemoths blew towards me, corroding and burning all in its path… I was born in this world of war, bloodshed and the slaughter of thousands of Yōkai fighting for a trivial sister’s feud… The next thing I remember was waking up in a devastated and ruined city, where all had turned black from the fires during the night. The bodies of countless lives that had been lost in the conflict, burned to a crisp, lay before my eyes in a horrific display of the cruelty of the world. Suddenly, an old man, barely capable of walking, slowly made his way through the street, clearly horrified and on the brim of falling in tears at what had become of the city. As he came closer, he noticed me, and looked at me, quite intrigued by my presence, and, as I would discover later, my mere existence. The old man lifted me up, and held me up in one hand. At this point I realized that I was but the size of a mouse, and I felt sliding through his fingers, like if my body wasn't solid. I fell, but his second hand caught me before I hit the ground. “There there little guy,” the man said, with a reassuring voice. “Everything is going to be alright. Yare yare, what a mess this place is.” I could hear the tears in his voice, as he looked onto what remained of a former food cart near a shop. He sighed. And slowly moved his hand up to his shoulder for me to sit on it, then slowly started making his way towards the Sakura Forest. … My new found father’s name was Akumajin. He told me the tale of the Yōkai Sisters, who caused the bloodshed and destruction. As the years passed, my father seemed to enjoy having more and more serious talks with me, about sciences and literature. However, I noticed that in all the references on Yōkai history, in all the books and scrolls, very little to no information existed concerning my origins. It would take me another few years for me to ask: “Oto-san, what am I?” My father looked at me, deep into my eyes, telling me without any words that I was, indeed, an unusual creature, even for the Yōkai. It was a dreaded question, which my father had anticipated, but had hoped never to have to answer. “From what I've gathered over the years, I believe you are a Slime. Slimes are a rare breed for this time and age, most of them died out during the wars before the Age of Peace.” This information alone was rather sad. Though I wasn't alone, I was rare around here. I slowly felt like the weight of judgement had been dropped onto me from the heavens, and I fell into the darkest of places I had been since my birth. “Hey,” my father said. “Don't worry. I'm sure there are more of your kind out there, you just need to find them. If you feel like you're failing or lost, Don’t believe in yourself, believe in the me that believes in you, and you'll manage to find your path.” He patted me on the head, and I felt his warmth pulling me out of the darkness. I wasn't alone, and I was the son of Akumajin, the old man in the Mori Shrine. He looked towards the horizon. The Sakura trees were in blossom, spring had arrived. With a small pat on my back, he stood up, and slowly walked towards the altar. “You know what; I think I might have a mission for you.” He picked up two large scrolls, which he then gave to me. They were heavy, and were probably about a meter wide. “When the time is right, head towards the west, where you will look for Hikari and Yami, the Yōkai sisters. Give them these scrolls, and make them understand that I gave these in person. They might not like this, and you might get into trouble with them, but I hope they’ll understand… From what I have heard, they are currently still fighting in the plains of Shin-Stenderu (tr: New Stendel)… or something like that.” I looked at him, and saw hope in his eyes. From there on, it wasn't long before I took my best hakama, my bokken and the scrolls, setting off towards the west, following the request of my father, and seeking out the Sisters. My journey had just begun, yet I felt like it had already started years ago. I would later come to realize that my “childhood” years would turn out to be the best, but that, is a tale I’ll tell on another occasion... 世話をする (*take care*) Merci d’avoir eut le courage de lire jusqu’ici et merci de votre temps. Mon dieu mon dieu, "het is zo ver" (trad: on y est arrivé, flamand). I've known TheGaudis for quite a few years now, and every time we cross paths he seems to have new skills to show off or stories to tell. Whether it would him flaunting about his building skills or him showing off as a ruler over his projects, he always has something new and exiting to bring forward. Beneath a man with wild looks and stone cold judgment is a man with dedication and will power I have yet to achieve myself. His loyalty to the community and his friends cannot be put in doubt, and his motives are pure (at least i hope so), I would like to up vote his request for knighthood, not only because he's a friend, but also because if he doesn't deserve it, no one does. +1 old friend, and may you prosper as a knight. On a side note, don't spoil my project and finally, you'll NEVER see me in a monastery, EVER. PS: Oui, j'écris en anglais, car j'écris mieux en anglais qu'en francais, et que je peux faire ce que je veux.
